Uptown Saturday Night is a celebrated 1974 American crime buddy comedy film directed by and starring Sidney Poitier, alongside co-star Bill Cosby. The plot centers on two ordinary friends, Steve Jackson and Wardell Franklin, who sneak away for a night out at Madame Zenobia’s illegal underground after-hours nightclub.
