The official trailer for the Anaconda reboot has been released, confirming that the new film is a meta horror comedy starring a dream team of Paul Rudd and Jack Black. Directed by Ben Stiller, the film is a loving and hilarious parody of the 1997 original, promising a movie that is both funny and genuinely terrifying.

The trailer sets up a brilliant premise: Rudd and Black play two ambitious but bumbling Hollywood producers who decide to reboot Anaconda as a serious, “art-house” film.The footage pokes fun at the filmmaking process, with Black and Rudd’s characters hilariously trying to apply their dramatic sensibilities to a life or death situation.The film is set to hit theaters on June 2, 2026.

The Met’s Arts of Africa galleries returned in May 2025, in a reimagined Michael C. Rockefeller Wing. Following a multiyear renovation, the reenvisioned installation reintroduces visitors to the Museum’s collection of sub-Saharan African art through a selection of some 500 works organized to survey major artistic movements and living traditions from across the subcontinent.
