COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus and Jordan Brand have come together to inject the Air Jordan 11 with the high minimalism of Rei Kawakubo’s Paris-based label. The beloved Air Jordan silhouette, known for its streamlined expression, is even further refined with a monochromatic makeup and focus on luxurious materials.
Reimagining Tinker Hatfield’s original design, the new release most notably features a gloss-finished midsole that continues the signature patent leather of the original uppers. The slight tweak has a strong impact on the design, giving it a more noticeable, extended shine. Further, the upper panels boast premium full-grain leather, debossed with subtle CDG Homme Plus and Air Jordan branding on opposing sides.The COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus x Air Jordan 11 is set to drop on Saturday, September 5 at Dover Street Market and select COMME des GARÇONS stores.
