Salomon and The Broken Arm have reunited for a collaborative spin on the Grolle, a mid-cut boot that the Paris concept store builds around the lives of young people coming of age in villages and rural communities.Arriving in a single “Black Olive, Peat, Pumkin Spice” colorway, the mid-cut silhouette is built around a largely single-piece leather upper in a deep olive-brown shade, finished with an intentionally irregular, cracked surface that is designed to gain further depth and patina through wear.

Bright white conventional laces cut sharply through the earthy palette, threaded through embroidered eyelets and metal hardware rather than Salomon’s familiar Quicklace system. A metal buckle, subtle embroidery and intentionally exposed structural elements reinforce the utilitarian, lived-in quality of the design, reflecting The Broken Arm’s concept of exploring youth and everyday life beyond major cities. Retail on the Salomon collaboration $210 and the footwear release on November 4th.
