Gucci-Ghost, otherwise known as Trouble Andrew, is a NYC-based graffiti artist that made his name by spray painting his stylized take on Gucci’s double G logo pattern on walls and dumpsters around his neighborhood.
But rather than suing his irreverent ass into financial oblivion, the Italian fashion house enlisted him as a collaborator for its FW16 collection.
Ghost’s tags appeared on Gucci carrier bags and on pieces throughout the new seasonal range. Another example of urban art effecting the mainstream fashion industry.

The HBO special, first aired in early 1980 as part of the network’s Standing Room Only series. It was taped in 1979 at Caesar’s Palace as Ross promoted her then-current album, The Boss. The album, featuring writers/producers Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson, featured songs that showed off a range and power that many had forgotten Diana Ross possessed. This was a peak time in the diva’s career; Ross dazzled audience around the world with her demanding, Tony Award-winning An Evening With Diana Ross stage show, and starred with protege Michael Jackson in the 1978 film The Wiz. Supreme recently launched its SS16 campaign in stores and online, and just one week after the online launch, fans are treated with the customary seasonal Vans collaboration – and this one might be the cleanest one in recent memory.
Opting for the Vans Era this time around, Supreme chooses four tonal options with white contrast stitching on the upper and the signature Motion logo wrapping the sole of the shoes. The Supreme and Vans Era Motion Logo Pack releases on Thursday, March 3rd at Supreme chapter stores in NY, Los Angeles, and London as well as on the website supremenewyork.com. A Tokyo in-store release is scheduled for Saturday, March 5th.
