The NYCB premiere of Justin Peck’s whirlwind Heatscape, a 2015 work originally created for Miami City Ballet with scenic designs by visual artist Shepard Fairey, appears on a program also featuring Peter Martins’ coltish pas de deux Zakouski, last seen in 2012. Jerome Robbins’ epic The Goldberg Variations returns alongside Balanchine’s radiant Tschaikovsky Suite No. 3. And a world premiere from Jamar Roberts, former dancer and Resident Choreographer at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, concludes the Fall Fashion Gala and Contemporary Choreography I programs.
