Naomi Campbell model, actress and euntrepeneur burst on to the fashion scene at age 19 after securing the cover of French Vogue. Fashion design icon Yves Saint Laurent demanded Campbell appear on the cover or he would not allow the magazine to show his collection, thus making her the first model of African decent to grace the cover.
