Ronnie Fieg’s extensive body of work is undoubtedly highlighted by his collaborations with Asics and the GEL-Lyte III silhouette. Although the shoes have been around for twenty-five years, the retro renaissance put these split-tongued classics into the limelight with much of the load carried by the NewYork native.
Ronnie Fieg has distinguished himself from the pack of shoe designers with his ever-evolving color-blocking. In an extremely exclusive exhibit (a guest list of just 50 people) entitled What The at Miami’s Joshua Liner Gallery Fieg displayed unreleased shoes alongside thirteen of his past GEL-Lyte III designs and a curated selection of hand-picked artwork. Fieg also plans to launch an accompanying book titled Homage.

Nike Sportswear is always retooling the Nike Air Max 1 (AM 1) for releases that reflect the ever-changing streetwear style. For winter 2015 Nike is bringing back the Nike Air Max 1 VT, and upper is reminiscent of the Oregon Ducks color way.

The color blocking represents the trendy move for retro runners to have solid portions throughout the silhouette. With a head-turning green shade on the overlay and heel, an ominous black dominates the rest of this AM1 to allow for the classic gum light brown bottom to standout.

This pair will be available in Europe this Friday, December 4th, and we’ll keep you updated on a stateside release date in the days to come.

Here’s a terrible way to start the new month – no Yeezy Boosts! Rumors of a December 5th release have been swirling around over the last month, with notable retailers even suggesting that a Yeezy Boost 750 would drop. But two important updates have gone down recently – one being today’s confirmation from adidas that no Yeezy Boost sneaker will release this week, and Ibn Jasper going the extra step and saying the all-black Yeezy Boost 750 is a big ‘ol fake.

Yeezy Talk WorldWide notes that retailers are now confirming a December 19th release, but we’ll wait for more details as we near that date. We went from all-black Yeezy Boost 750s releasing on December 5th, to no adidas Yeezy Boosts at all. Bummer, huh? We’ll bring you the latest Yeezy Boost updates as they arrive, so in the meantime let us know if this alters your weekend’s sneaker purchase plans.
