Born Alicia Augello Cook in 1981, she has become one of the most influential artists of her generation, known for her soulful voice and masterful piano skills. Keys was a classically trained pianist by age seven and began writing songs at eleven. Her debut album, Songs in A Minor (2001), earned her five Grammy Awards in a single night.To date, she has won 15 Grammy Awards and has been honored with the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award. Keys is celebrated for anthems such as “Fallin’,” “If I Ain’t Got You,” “No One,” and “Empire State of Mind”.
