Avatar: The Way of Water trailer gives audiences a last full glimpse of what to expect for the upcoming Avatar sequel.The final trailer for Avatar 2 teases fans of the complex layers of the family-oriented plot. The clip transports fans into the world of James Cameron, who has evidently taken the film to new heights.

The film features a stacked cast, starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet. James Cameron directed, produced and created the screenplay for the film.Avatar: The Way of Water arrives in theaters on December 16.

The Met’s Arts of Africa galleries returned in May 2025, in a reimagined Michael C. Rockefeller Wing. Following a multiyear renovation, the reenvisioned installation reintroduces visitors to the Museum’s collection of sub-Saharan African art through a selection of some 500 works organized to survey major artistic movements and living traditions from across the subcontinent.
