Happy Birthday Nike Air Max! The now iconic sneaker originally released on March 26, 1987- that makes the Air Max 29 years old. Nike will celebrate the retail milestone on Saturday, March 26 with Air Max Day by releasing a new documentary aptly titled Masters of Air on the last day of Air Max Con. The online documentary takes a look at nine sneakerheads with a passion for the Air Max models.

Air Max Con is a three-day event highlighting the history of the Nike Air Max shoe. On Saturday the results of an on-line ballot for the will announce the shoe the public chosen to re-issue.
