Ten of Paul Taylor’s dances lay the foundation to the bold three-week Season, including dances not seen at the Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in over ten years: ARABESQUE, …BYZANTIUM, SPINDRIFT, and 3 EPITAPHS; with World premieres by Resident Choreographers Lauren Lovette and Robert Battle, and a New York premiere by celebrated choreographer Pam Tanowitz. Rounding out the Season are the Company premieres of Robert Battle’s compelling work, NO LONGER SILENT, which The New York Times hailed as, “… arguably Mr. Battle’s strongest piece…,” and the eagerly anticipated revival of dance icon Alwin Nikolais’ visually stunning TENSILE INVOLVEMENT.
