Premiering in 1974 on CBS, Good Times has been one of the most renowned Black sitcoms in American history as it chronicled aspects of the Black experience and tackled social issues of the time.The show followed the story of Florida and James Evans raising their children in a housing project in Chicago.The show is returning, but in a different form.
