      The 20th Annual New York Dance Parade and Festival takes place today, Saturday, May 16, 2026. Billed as the world's largest celebration of cultural diversity through movement, this year's landmark event features over 10,000 dancers and 150 groups showcasing more than 100 distinct styles of dance. The official 2026 anniversary theme is "The Beat Goes On. The 2026 Grand Marshals leading the celebration are industry legends Christine Jowers, Joan Myers Brown, Timmy Regisford, and Jeff Selby. Starts at 17th Street and Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) and finishes at Tompkins Square Park
