Remember 1989? Hip Hop was fresh, they were still white washing graffiti of Police Station walls, the subway used tokens and the Nike Air Pressure was “the joint”! Well its finally back the Nike Air Pressure returns for the first time ever and since most original pairs are beyond the point of being wearable by now it makes the re-issue all the more anticipated.

The Nike SNKRS app promises the return of the shoe and according to these images it will come back complete with the original bulky box and pump apparatus. The Nike Air Pressure will release today, January 14 and retail for $300.

Space Oddity, written and performed by David Bowie and released as a music single, and opening track of the album David Bowie (also known as Space Oddity) in July 1969. The song is about the launch of Major Tom, a fictional astronaut. Besides its title, which alludes to the film 2001: A Space Odyssey, the introduction to the song is a barely audible instrumental build-up that is analogous to the deep bass tone in Also sprach Zarathustra that is prominently used in the film.
