For Nike Friday the 13th is good luck due to the release of the new Lebron 13. Dubbed the “Friday The 13th” edition, the Nike LeBron 13 come in a white, black and university red color way; and feature a white-based upper with black and red accents along with a blood spatter-like design on the midsole. This is a limited release, so follow the lines of sneaker diehards (sneaker heads) to a select Nike stores near you.

The North Face just released an exclusive collection for Barneys, taking its mountaineering gear expertise and applying it to garments for the urban explorer. The North Face-wearing Barneys man roams the city and styles his down parkas with the likes of Comme des Garcons, Craig Green, Margiela and ACNE.


Rodarte Fall Winter 2015/2016 inspiration according to designers Laura and Kate Mulleavy was birds. Migrating birds, to be specific. Birds migrating from city to country, to be more so. But he most obvious influence this season was all about disco! Yes disco! There were multicolor sequin stripes; one-shoulder dresses; a crystal mesh material that read as a kind of magic lamé; and that Bob Mackie-style, heavy-duty figurative bead embroidery that’s done a long-term penance in the thrift shop bins. (Now it’s back, apparently.)

On November 5th Balmain and H&M will introduce a fashion collection and we’ve got an early look at what fashionistas will be standing in line (or waiting on-line) for tomorrow. For men and women alike, Balmain is known for its sharp-shouldered jackets and military detailing; and under the leadership of the brand’s 29-year-old creative director Olivier Rousteing, it’s only gotten better. The Adidas Yeezy 950 Boots releases today with the usual limited edition hype, we come to expect from the athletic shoe industry. The boot features the “Moon Rock” and “Chocolate” variants, and the silhouette is essentially inspired by the classic duckboot. Designed with Kanye West’s aesthetic influence of minimalism as well, the model is kept clean in a simple tonal finish. In terms of its build, canvas and nubuck comprises the upper, alongside suede accents, metal eyelets, matching laces and heel pull tab.

More branding can be seen on the tongue and outsole, while the models are finished off with a ribbed rubber sole unit to ensure maximum traction and versatility for the colder months ahead.
