To celebrate Back To The Future II Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel back to October 21, 2015 and land on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. The arrival on Kimmel was suppose to coincide with the release of the long-awaited Nike McFly, the Nike Mag sneaker, complete with hands-free power-lacing capabilities. Unfortunately for sneaker collectors the release has been postponed indefinitely.

The Supreme and Jordan V pack T- shirt release will coincide with the on-line release of the Supreme and Jordan basketball sneaker collaboration on Thursday, October 15. T-shirt could hint at a larger apparel collection in the future.
For the Burberry Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2015 collection classic sentimentality is ever present but in the form of figurative postcards from exotic corners of the world with each look. Batik print trench coats were styled with suede patchwork bottoms for a print-on-print effect. Day dresses with exposed panelling continued the print story, fashioning oriental motifs at times. Paako Indian embroidery with embedded mirror accents carry forward a theme from the men’s show. But what is poised to becoming the season’s must-haves were the fringed capes and matching bucket bags that were decidedly bohemian. Continue reading

In Saint Laurent’s 2015/16 Paris Menswear Fashion Show designer Hedi Slimane’s models strode from one pool of half-light into another, a collage of highly stylized, highly recognizable archetypes presented themselves like wisps. A fitted three-button caban, inverse-color Breton, and supertight jeans. A black jacket and polo-neck worn with supertight black jeans scarred by zippers. Highlights will include Maurizio Cattelan’s Comedian (2019) and Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen’s Soft Shuttlecock (1995), on view in New York for the first time in 25 years. These works will be shown alongside Yayoi Kusama’s INFINITY MIRRORED ROOM – DANCING LIGHTS THAT FLEW UP TO THE UNIVERSE (2019), a major loan to the exhibition, and recent acquisitions by contemporary artists such as Farah Al Qasimi, Alex Da Corte, Lucia Hierro, Martine Gutierrez, Lauren Halsey, Mohammed Ahmed Ibrahim, Yee I-Lann, Cara Romero, and Liu Shiyuan, whose practices expand the legacies of Pop.
