O&A NYC PREVIEW: BLACK PANTHER 3: Shadows of Wakanda (2028) Preview

Director Ryan Coogler is set to return, continuing the saga following the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The third installment in the Black Panther series, reportedly titled Black Panther 3: Shadows of Wakanda, is currently in development at Marvel Studios with an expected theatrical release on February 18, 2028.

Ryan Coogler has reportedly written a role specifically for the legendary Denzel Washington. Washington previously hinted that this would be one of his final projects before retirement.

Following a multiyear renovation, the reenvisioned installation reintroduces visitors to the Museum’s collection of sub-Saharan African art through a selection of some 500 works organized to survey major artistic movements and living traditions from across the subcontinent.
