Ingredients:
4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: Chopped walnuts for garnish

Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the Pears:
Cut the pears in half and scoop out the core with a melon baller or spoon to create a small well in each pear half.
3. Assemble the Pears:
Place the pear halves in a baking dish, cut side up.
Drizzle each pear half with a little olive oil.
Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese into the hollow of each pear.
4. Bake the Pears:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pears are tender but still hold their shape, and the blue cheese is slightly melted.
5. Finish with Honey and Thyme:
Remove the pears from the oven and drizzle with honey.
Sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves, and season with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
6. Optional Garnish:
If desired, sprinkle chopped walnuts on top for extra texture and flavor.
7. Serve:
Serve warm as a savory appetizer or light dessert.
