Teyana Taylor’s Escape Room is a multi-hyphenate project: a short film that accompanies her 2025 album of the same name. Teyana Taylor wrote, directed, and produced the film through her all-female production company,The Aunties, in which she also stars. Described as a “post-apocalyptic/futuristic, noir romance thriller,” the film is a visual representation of the album’s themes of heartbreak and healing.

This was the mission of the Chicago Black Dance Legacy Project production Unbound: Shattered Frames, Endless Visions.
